Essay

The object of study - normal modes of electric power systems (EPS) with inhomogeneous electric networks (EN) and dispersed generation. Applied scientific roblem - dealing with the development of the theory of optimization of electric power systems normal modes by means of creation on the basis of the least action principle (LAP) new models and methods of optimization and practical implementation of the obtained results for the improvement of operation efficiency of electric power systems (EPS) with non-uniform electric networks and distributed sources of energy. The purpose of research - more efficient management of power flows in EPS and electrical networks with distributed generation through the further development of the theory of EPS normal modes optimization of such systems based on the LAP. Research methods - LAP Pontryagin maximum principle, the methods of similarity theory and modeling, linear and nonlinear programming; to simulate the steady-state EPS regimes node voltages and loop currents methods applied. Theoretical results - a new mathematical model of steady-state regimes EN was developed. It combines the equation of state of power transmission lines with lumped and distributed parameters and provides an opportunity to adequately reproduce the optimum condition for the operational management of the EPS; a new mathematical model of steady-state modes of inhomogeneous ES was developed. Its use can reasonably place the device adjustment mode and determine the range of their control actions; a mathematical model of the "ideal" (for the loss) regime of non-uniform EN was developed based on LAP. Its use allows for the management regimes from the calculated "ideal" to real with restrictions; the feasibility of solving optimization problems of distributed power sources functioning in power system was proved first with using LAP. This made possibility to implement the process of operational management EPS regimes. Practical results - the programs of analysis modes and optimization parameters of transmission and distribution EN was developed. The means of EPS regims operative management was proposed. The level of implementation - software package "VTRATI" implemented in 6 power supply companies and other enterprises; software complex "ACHP" embedded in Southwest EPS; the results was implemented in the educational process of Vinnytsia National Technical University. Application - power energy.
