Katerynchuk I. Legal Bases of Information Support of the Activities of Law Enforcement Bodies of Ukraine.

In the thesis on the basis of the theoretical developments in the field of the theory of state and law, information and administrative law, regulations of the legislation of Ukraine and other states new methodological and legal bases of the strategy of information support of the activities of law enforcement bodies of Ukraine as a part of e-governance in the country are developed; several proposals and recommendations aimed at the improvement of the activities of these bodies are made. The place of modern and advanced information technologies in law enforcement support is defined, the features of the genesis of the formation of legal basis of information support of the activities of law enforcement bodies and the classification of the stages of its development are considered. An objective of the activities of law enforcement bodies of Ukraine is defined and legal consolidation of the functions of information support is analyzed.
