Chernenko O. The selection methods of assessment the body build and the adaptive capacity of dairy cattle development and implementation

The development and implementation results of plant-breeding methods of estimation of body build and the adaptive capacity of dairy cattle have been provided in the thesis work. Volume and wight coefficient have been calculared, that allows to differentiate cows according to stages of performance: high- mid- and low-capacity stages. Animals of high- mid-capacity stages of performance have higher indexes of milk productivity, than for the cows of low-capacity stage. With genotypes of LL, GH and АВ genes of РІТ-1 combine mainly animals with high- and midcapasity stages of performance and of high stress resistance. For the estimation of adaptation capacity of oxen-inseminators, stressresistance type index has been calculated, which provides the classification of animals into two types: high- and low stress resistant. For the first three years of the use advantage belongs to oxen with high type of stress resistance on the indexes of sperm productivity on 13,5-70,6 % (Р>0,95) and quality of sperm on 8,3-62,2 % (Р>0,95-0,99). Their daughters are better on the indexes of rich milk productivity (P>0,99).
