Novykova I. Construction companies competitiveness management system formation under technological changes

This thesis is focused on developing and substantiating theoretical and methodological principles and practical guidelines for building a competitiveness management system for construction companies, accounting for technology changes. Substantiated and elaborated are: the initial background for the company competitiveness management theory in the scope of which a conceptual and categorical field of the economics and company management theory has been developed; a company competitiveness management system and its building blocks; and a fast-response mechanism to hazards and risks in competitiveness management for construction and development companies. The classical method of company competitiveness management, conceptual model of interacting business processes in company, construction companies classification methodology by the degrees of economic stability, construction companies activity model in the competitive environment, mechanism of dynamic model application to assess competitiveness in the course of management process, construction company information support monitoring model, construction company competitive advantages creation and evaluation mechanism, companies management system in terms of innovation implementation and risks assessment, construction company competitiveness mechanism through the use of marketing support methods were improved within the framework of forming the applied instruments for companies competitiveness management system. Methodologically important provisions for the formation of an effective system of construction companies competitiveness management in the terms of technological changes were implemented on the basis of using the dominants of the developed concept of system-synergetic type that allows to evaluate and detect perspectives of companies competitive advantages development not only in the construction industry but also in other industries. The degree of development of companies competitiveness management procedures and competitiveness degree evaluation models are provided by copyright tools of self-developed tools of portfolio analysis based on information monitoring criteria, innovation audit, which includes the original indicators for the assessment of management system effectiveness.
