Object of study - vertebral pain syndrome; aim - to develop a comprehensive system diagnostics, treatment and prevention of vertebral pain as a clinical manifestation of systemic osteoporosis in older age groups by studying its risk factors and characteristics of clinical course; methods - general, clinical, instrumental, laboratory, statistical; innovation and results - examined the characteristics, features of flow, calculated the risk of vertebral pain syndrome separately for thoracic and lumbar spine, depending on age, sex, duration of postmenopausal period, the structural and functional state of bone tissue, the presence of low-energy fractures; supplemented role of various factors (age, sex, duration of postmenopausal period, body mass index, level of vitamin D, the bone metabolism, the trabecular bone score, dyslipidemia) and calculated the risk of vertebral pain syndrome in systemic osteoporosis and osteopenia with and without low-energy fractures depending on the presence of these factors; studied the relationship between the characteristics of pain in the thoracic and lumbar in postmenopausal women and the availability of low-energy fractures, indicators of structural and functional state of bone; the features infringement quality of life and emotional state of patients in the older age groups vertebral pain syndrome on the background of low BMD indicators (osteoporosis, osteopenia); the first in Ukraine studied the relationship between the trabecular bone score and vertebral pain characteristics and the presence of low-energy fractures in older age groups; the comparative analysis of the effectiveness of treatment of vertebral pain syndrome on the background of systemic NSAIDs and antyosteoporosis drugs of different groups; designed, proposed and implemented a comprehensive system diagnostics, treatment and prevention of vertebral pain syndrome in older age groups studied, taking into account risk factors and structural-functional state of bone tissue at different levels of medical care; implemented - in the clinical practice of municipal health care "Kharkiv City Clinical Hospital ambulance and emergency medical care to them prof.
