Chernyshоva O. Differentiated approach to treatment and secondary prevention of asthma among children with background persistent infections.

The dissertation based on etiopathogenetical approach to therapy, is devoted to solving of an important scientific problem: - reducing airway remodeling of asthma among children that suffer from background intracellular infections. Indicators of phagocytic functions of cellular, humoral immunity, the levels of pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines, interferons testified immunological changes. It is established that the intracellular infection, enhances the severity of asthma among children and leads to violations of markers of airway remodeling. Reasonable and etiopathogenetical differentiated treatment for children with asthma and intracellular infections was introduced, along with basic treatment: which includes the active course of herpetic infections antiherpetic drugs; the active flow Chlamydophila and Mycoplasma infections - macrolides, flavonoids and recombinant а2b-interferons; with latent - flavonoids and recombinant а2b- interferon. Advanced therapy helped to reduce the frequency of exacerbations of asthma, as well as severity of its course: to update parameters of lung function; to reduce allergic inflammation indicators, practically normalize of phagocytosis, cellular and humoral immunity, pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines, decreased activity markers of remodeling.
