Essay

A new experimental model for peripheral nerve injury surgical treatment has been designed. New model consider using high-frequency electrosurgical device in welding mode for minimal quantity of sutures and practically sutureless connection between distal and proximal nerve stumps during repair of injured nerve. Morphological changes in peripheral nerve, it's sensory and motor segmental centers after injury and operative treatment using high-frequency electrosurgical device in welding mode both with Traumeel S administration in postoperative period. A conception of stimulation mechanisms for injured peripheral nerve repair both with reflex arc components (spinal cord, spinal ganglia) recovery was defined. It concerns in high viability of sensor and motor neurons of segmental centers, enhanced and full distal nerve stump neurotization due to using of electrosurgical device in welding mode during operative treatment and Traumeel S administration in early postoperative period. Due to absence of harmful effect of high-frequency electrosurgical instrument allows to recommend this method for new schemes development in nervous system surgery.
