Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the basis of development of new thermoelectric materials with high efficiency conversion of thermal heat into electrical current is based on the proposed method of structure optimization. It is shown that the materials ZrNiSn, HfNiSn, TiNiSn, VFeSb, and ZrCoSb are charaterized by the defect structure. The calculation of thermodymanic characteristics of new thermoelectric materials allowed to predict the possibility of their creation and to determine the concentration limits of their existance.
