Kostyria I. Modern Geo-Cultural Strategies in Politics of the Trans-regional Communicative Interaction

The complex analyses of the modern geo-cultural strategies in politics of the trans-regional communicative interaction is held for the first time in the native political science. Theoretical approaches defining the "geo-culture" essence and its role in political life are summarized. . The term "geo-culture" and "geo-cultural strategy" are proposed to be studied in the context of political theory and methodology of the political research in understanding of contemporary communicative interaction politics between states and regions.It gives grounds to the geo-cultural components of the European regional integration strategies. First of all, it is the Europe's cultural diplomacy traditions impact on the development of the European regional strategies. Besides, the development of the European regions includes the possibility of the geo-cultural integration and cross-border cooperation. Much attention is paid to the communicative potential of the geo-cultural strategies within the European integration policy of Ukraine. The study of the political and legal principles of the integration strategies, corresponding UNESCO partnerships, regional and globalization challenges of contemporaneity made it possible to formulate and define the trends and prospects of the geo-cultural trans-regional cooperation.
