Essay

The retrospective analysis of 400 cases of patients with skeletal trauma as a component of multiple injuries was done, 90 patients with uncomplicated fractures and 90 almost healthy people were observed also. The clinical and epidemiological, clinical-nosological characteristics of skeletal traumas as a component of multiple injuries were studied. The influence of different factors, like age, gender, mechanism and circumstances of trauma, was investigated toward the course of traumatic process in victims with multiple injuries. Clinical result risks toward the traumatic disease were done in case of influence of clinical-epidemiological and clinical-nosological characteristics of skeletal damage, as a component of associated trauma. Cytokine status and systemic cytokine balance was studied as an important pathogenic feature, for the severity and character of course results in victims with injury of skeleton in case of polytrauma. Development of the protocol structure based on hierarchy surgery has reduced mortality rates at all clinical nosology forms of polysystemic damage by an average of 10,6 %. The most significant decline in mortality was observed in groups with polytrauma with thoracic and cranial component by 20 % and 13 % respectively.
