Essay

Thesis is devoted to the study of the mechanism of formation and rules of propagate of hot cracks at the micro level in the ductility-dip temperature range 600-1000 C in multipass welds with stable austenitic structure. Alloying systems Ni-Cr-Fe and Ni-Cr-Fe-Nb-Mo were investigated. Comparative evaluation of the sensitivity to hot cracking of the welds Ni-Cr-Fe-Nb-Mo, as well as with Ni-Cr-Fe, tested by the PVR-Test procedure, showed that the Ni-Cr-Fe-Nb-Mo welds were more than 25 times more resistant to ductility-dip cracking
