Rubanov V. Theoretical and Methodological Principles of Political Analytics

The results of investigation of theory and methodology of political analytics as a modern phenomenon and a scientific concept are submitted for defense. They embrace the process of genesis and conceptual logic of forming structural components of the content of “political analytics” concept: political analysis, political prognostication, political counseling, decision-making theory. For the first time in political science the role of political analysis for the forming of political analytics as an integral system of scientific knowledge, expertise and analytical methods and procedures of preparation, making and implementation of political decisions are adduced and systematically proved. A new approach has been applied to solving topical scientific and practical political problems of essence and correlation of objects scopes of political analysis and analysis of politics as subjects of political sciences as well as basic criteria for the demarcation of professional functions of a political analyst and a political expert as the main figures in political analytics. Condition, problems and perspectives of institutionalization of political analytics as an integral experts and analytics system of methods and procedures of analysis problems and subjects of political sciences in Ukraine are described.
