Essay

The object is radiophysical phenomena in radio waves propagation that affect the amplitude and phase characteristics of the field in the aperture of the receiving antenna system. The purpose is to identify the characteristics of wave propagation in terms of comparability of heights of corresponding points with elevations of the sea surface roughness. The basic physical mechanisms of radio waves scattering over the rough sea surface in terms of low heights of corresponding points and low grazing angles have been determined. The method of determining the characteristics of the electromagnetic field in these conditions has been developed. Application: description of wave propagation over the rough sea surface at low grazing angles.
