Boiechko V. The Incipience of the Polish Statehood in (1914-1921)

Socially political processes connected with the incipience of the Polish statehood in 1914-1921 have been learnt in the dissertation on the basis of historiography achievements and wide sources material, the part of which was introduced for the first time into the scientific circulation and modern methodology. It has been found out that the essence of "the Polish question" in the socially political space on the eve of the First world war consisted of the formation of the socially political thought as to freedom and sovereignty of every nation, their right on the national statehood. Finally it has led to the distinct joint aim - the incipience of the independent Polish state in the political national elite. It has been revealed that the essence of Austro-German and Entente projects of the Polish state were limited by the conciliation and control of the Polish national movement. Such suggested authorities as Regent and State Council did not have any real powers.
