The dissertation is the first scientific research to provide theoretical and methodological investigation of pedagogical and methodological foundation of pedagogical diagnostics of future teachers' of Musical Art quality of education. The scientific thesaurus of the research has been provided. The social-professional competence of graduates and criteria revealing the level of its formation as well as the system of the educational process components at the faculty of Musical Art and their qualitative criteria have been researched and substantiated as objects of diagnostics. General professional and specialized professional competences of teachers of Musical Art have been determined. The application of pedagogical diagnostics tools in training future teachers of Musical Art in foreign and domestic university education theory and practice has been analyzed. A historical-pedagogical analysis of the origin and development of the term "pedagogical diagnostics" has been carried out. The concept and components of pedagogical diagnostics of quality of education of future teachers' of Musical Art have been theoretically substantiated. The system of pedagogical diagnostics of quality of education of future teachers' of Musical Art has been worked out and experimentally tested, its efficiency criteria have been determined. Organizational and methodological resources providing for pedagogical diagnostics of quality of education of future teachers of Musical Art (tools, student activity products, types of classes for carrying out diagnostics, technology of diagnostics of specialized professional performance competence) have been studied, researched, worked out and tested experimentally.
