The research object is a resource support of agricultural production growth; theoretical and methodological basis of the research are fundamentals of economic theory, socio-economic dynamics, government regulation of agricultural economy; studies of domestic and foreign scholars of different schools and trends concerning the issues of economic growth and agricultural production and agro-sphere development, namely the dialectical method of understanding economic phenomena, systematic, subjective, dialectical-and-materialistic, rationalistic, neoposivist-empirical approaches - to study the relation between the phenomena and processes of agricultural production growth and its resource, socio-economic and environmental development. Scientific and methodological principles of resource support ecologically and socially oriented growth of agricultural production are grounded, the essence of this concept is studied and the evolution the theories of economic growth is considered. The main factors and constraints of economic growth of agriculture as an economic system is systematized; its features, components and indicators are defined.The comprehensive analysis of the resource support of agricultural production economic growth (financial, innovative and logistical support, human capital development, condition and dynamics of agricultural market infrastructure) is made, trends in socio-economic and ecological processes in agriculture are identified.
