Cheriachukin M. Scientific grounding and development of the main activities of primary tillage in the zonal systems of agriculture of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine

In the thesis were given the results of permanent and temporary field experiments which were got during 1974–2008 from complex influence of the systems of agriculture and systems of tillage of soil on the soil processes which cause the fertility of soil and productivity of agricultural crops. The received experimental material enabled to set as positive so negative sides of different methods of tilling of soil and to define on their basis the ways of minimalization of tillage of middle-humus heavy loam ordinary chernozem to develop and recommend to the production the scientifically grounded system of tillage of soil in a ten-course production fruit-changeable crop rotation, where the ploughing combined rationally with different minimal tillage of soil, including zero tillage. Rational alternative agriculture weakens the anthropogenic pressure on soils and environment, diminishes energy expenses on cultivation of agricultural crops, exposes the reaction of these crops on a direct action and co-operation of factors which are studied. Application of plant remains promotes the improvement of water-physical properties, noticeably slows the rates of decomposition of humus of soil, promotes the profitability of growing of crops. The principles of minimalization of main tillage of soil in spring under spring and winter crops got subsequent development.
