Essay

The thesis focuses on the results of scientific investigation on the issue of academic research in primary school. The interpretation of academic and research activities essential content in the context of the basic concepts such as "activity", "academic activity", "research activity" is performed, educational cooperation as the basis of academic and research activities of primary school students is examined, prerequisites, conditions, procedural basis and results of the process of this activity arrangement are defined. The modern theory and practice of academic and research activity is analyzed. The necessity to introduce the term "interactivity integration" into scientific use is grounded. The model of primary school students' academic and research activity arrangement is scientifically proved and visualized. Teachers' and students' issues of didactic tools as the components of the given model are worked out. The multifunctional activity of a teacher in the context of teaching and control; strategic, tactical and operational management are described in terms of the subject, object, purpose, goals and management cycles; charcteristics of students with different abilities ("I teach myself", "I teach others", "Others teach me", "Learning in the process of interaction) are specified. The defined criteria, indicators, levels of primary school teachers' and students' readiness to organize and perform an academic research served as the basis for conclusions about the effectiveness of introduction of the experimental model and its components into the primary school educational process.
