Dissertation presents theoretical generalization and new solution to an actual problem of modern therapy - developed conceptual measures aimed at improving the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of chronic gastritis combined with osteoarthritis in terms of the treatment of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs on the basis of a comprehensive assessment of morphological changes of gastric mucosa, the role of infection H .pylori and its toxigenic strains of secretory and motor-evacuation function of the gastroduodenal zone status endocrine function of the stomach (the level of gastrin-17 and pepsinogen -1) and indicators of cell renewal (apoptosis and proliferation index). For the first time formulated system of evaluation of the pathogenetic mechanisms of chronic gastritis in comorbidity with osteoarthritis in terms of NSAID therapy in terms of the theory of imbalance between damaging and protective factors of gastric mucosa. Developed criteria for predicting the risk of NPZP- induced erosive lesions of the mucous membrane and gastric neoplasia in this group of patients.
