Maksymchuk M. The institutialization of structural-spatial changes in the economy of regions of Ukraine

The object of study: the processes of structural and spatial changes in the regional economy of Ukraine. Objective: justification of theoretical and methodological foundations of institutionalization of structural and spatial changes in regional economy of the state and developing of practical recommendations on forming a regional structural policy. Methods: theoretical generalization, comparison, analysis and systematization, classification, structural, statistical and institutional economic analysis, economic and mathematical modeling, mapping, GIS modeling. The novelty: for the first time conceptual bases of regional institutionalism as one of the fundamental components of the modern theory of regional economy are grounded, methodological approach to defining the essence of the processes of institutionalization of structural and spatial changes in regional economies is proposed, methodological approach to the study of structural and spatial changes in the economy of regions, scientific statements concerning formation of administrative market for regional policy by allocating its structural components, functions and types, methodical approach to assessing of structural changes in the economy of the regions are improved. Scope: in the activities of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine in preparing analytical and strategic documents, the National Institute for Strategic Studies in preparing the section "Regional policy and development of local government" for annual message of the President of Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Chernivtsi Regional State Administration in developing of the program of economic and social development of the region, Lviv Regional State Administration in developing of draft of the program of socio-economic and cultural development, for conducting of socio-economic planning of regional development of the region.
