The dissertation is devoted to the formation of theoretical, methodological, and applied foundations of an innovative model of sustainable development of regions, taking into account the continuous nature of the functioning of the regional system in conditions of turbulent changes. The theoretical and methodological foundations of forming an innovative model of sustainable development of regions in the era of turbulence are revealed. Scientific approaches to forming an innovative model of sustainable development of regions have been studied. Modern approaches and prerequisites for the sustainable development of regions are defined. Methodical approaches to evaluating the efficiency of sustainable development of regions in conditions of global turbulence are revealed. The trends in forming an innovative model of sustainable development of regions in conditions of global turbulence are analyzed. The global prerequisites and national features of regional development in conditions of global turbulence are analyzed. An assessment of the development trends of the socio-economic development of the regions of Ukraine was carried out. The mechanisms of regions' sustainable development in global turbulence conditions are studied.
