Demchenko A. Formation and development of employment institutions in rural areas of the region

The dissertation is devoted to deepening of theoretical and methodical bases and development of practical recommendations concerning formation and development of institutes of employment of rural areas of region. It is alleged that a rural area is an area that is within the jurisdiction of territorial communities of rural (urban) settlements and includes agricultural and non-agricultural land. The importance of rural areas for the socio-economic development of the country is substantiated due to their following characteristics: 1) in rural areas live a third of the country's population, which makes them a priority area of social policy; 2) rural areas are the center of agricultural production, which is a strategic sector of the national economy because it ensures food security, mitigates the crisis, serves as a buffer for economic stability, and provides the largest and most stable foreign exchange earnings from merchandise exports.
