Essay

The theoretical, historical, methodological analysis of juvenile delinquency cognition, and its prevention and counteraction in the context of functioning of institutions of society is carried out. The modern level of cognition of juvenile delinquency in Ukraine, its features, determination and prevention is defined. Coming from the analysis of juvenile delinquency criminology indexes and their display in the separate types of crimes, the features, modern tendencies, conformities to law are found out. A typical program of crime prevention among juveniles is also presented.
