Matiushenko I. Theoretical aspects of convergent technologies in the Ukraine in the new industrial revolution

In the dissertation the concept of convergent technologies in Ukraine to address global challenges under conditions of a new industrial revolution has been substantiated from the positions of synergetic paradigm. A methodical approach to the assessment of innovative capacity as a prerequisite for implementation of convergent technologies in Ukraine has been formed. An integral indicator of conditions of creation and innovation potential, an integral index of conditions and implementation of innovation potential and Comparison component of integrated indicators for the EU and Ukraine to determine the relative benefits of the innovative potential of Ukraine have been elaborated. Scenarios of scientific and technical and innovation development of Ukraine have been substantiated for determining the level of technological development. The expediency of foresight studies of scientific and technological development of countries has been proved and methodical approach to the selection of priority thematic areas of scientific and technological development has been proposed. The guidance for justification of priorities of development of nanotechnologies as a part of convergent technologies in Ukraine has been created. The presence of the potential of convergent technologies in Ukraine in such priority areas as medicine and agriculture; nanotechnology and new materials; information and communication technologies; energy and aerospace systems has been established. The directions institutional support convergence of knowledge, technology and society in the context of joint national and European research areas have been proved. The proposals for the implementation of the roadmap to the national research space formed organizational support for the development of cluster-network infrastructure of converged technologies based on research and education centers has been established.
