Dorokhina Y. Theoretical problems of criminal and legal protection of property in Ukraine

The thesis is dedicated to comprehensive study of theoretical problems of criminal and legal protection of property in Ukraine. The work deals with the definition of property as a special institute in criminal law theory, where property is defined as universal, interintegral, political and legal reality having social and economic characteristics that define it as a basic constituent part of criminal and legal policy related to property protection. Much attention is given to the fact that implementation of modern liberal reforms, indisputably, depends on law, such legal regulators that are aimed at protecting rights and freedoms of a human and citizen in the field of property right protection. However, it is impossible without comprehensive property protection since property relations is the basis for adequate social and economic development of Ukrainian society, and consequently, illegal encroachments on property negatively effect social and economic processes taking place in the country, unfavourably effect general conditions of criminality.
