Kropyvko M. Economic preconditions of development of peasant farms in Ukraine

There’re studied the theoretical essence of peasant farms as organizational forms of agricultural activity and part of households and their role in social terms and ensuring of food security. The methodological features of the study of areas, ways and mechanisms of peasant farms were determined. There’s made an analysis of the current state of development, providing of land, labor, material and technical resources, productivity of agricultural land and labor, and their balance in peasant farms was made. There’s proved the necessity of providing an innovative development of peasant farms by balancing their limited land and labor resources through innovation aimed at increasing of land productivity and reducing of labor costs. Conceptual foundations of state policy on development of peasant farms through the introduction of social norms to provide land for their activity were proved. The ways and mechanisms to improve logistical, financial, investment, research and innovation, information and consultation providing of peasant farms were determined.
