Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the exploration of theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of the influence of macroeconomic factors on the development of bioeconomy. The thesis clarifies the essence of the concept of «the bioeconomy», which strengthens the necessary theoretical basis of the research. It also identifies groups of macroeconomic factors that are suitable for quantitative measurements, as well as those subject to a descriptive analysis, in order to further determine the direction and intensity of their impact. A model for determining the influence of factors of the macroeconomic environment on the indicators of the bioeconomy development is developed, which makes it possible to predict the consequences of the application of regulatory measures at the level of the national economy. A methodical approach to assessing the potential of the bioeconomy in Ukraine is proposed. A complex system of indicators has been developed to determine the level of development and effectiveness of the bioeconomy, and the measurement with their help allows monitoring the dynamics of the sectors of the bioeconomy, assessing its effectiveness, and determining the impact on the welfare of producers, consumers and the state. The conceptual provisions for the formation of a long-term state support strategy have been developed, and the draft concept of the target program for the development of the bioeconomy of Ukraine was proposed, which aims at integration of existing resources and organizational structures in the country. An in-depth understanding of the theoretical and methodological aspects of the relationship between the bioeconomy and food security has been developed, which made it possible to determine the potential absence of a negative impact of the bioeconomics on food security of the country under the current parameters of the base of natural and human resources.
