Halunko V. Administrative and Legal Support of Investigative Activity in Ukraine

Understanding of investigative activity in the system of judicial power is revealed. Historical and legal analysis of administrative and legal aspects of the development of investigative bodies in various historical epochs has been carried out. The methodology of administrative and legal support for investigative activities has been formed. The special principles of administrative and legal support of investigative activity in Ukraine were revealed and described. Proved that the investigator is the main subject carries out pre-trial investigation. He must be independent of departmental leadership and any other influence, regardless of who provides him with work, money maintenance and is a representative of the judiciary. It has been determined that the procedure for appointing an investigator should be similar to the appointment of judges.
