The thesis presents the theoretical generalization and practical solution of the scientific problem of professional competence formation in the prospective design Bachelors. The historical and pedagogical analysis of the problem of forming the professional competence in the prospective Bachelors on interior design at various stages of social development is carried out. The theoretical and methodological principles of the professional training of the prospective Bachelors are substantiated and the categorical-conceptual apparatus of the problem field of the research is analyzed. The intrinsic features, structure, criteria, indicators and levels of formation of professional competence in the prospective interior design specialists based on the study of foreign and domestic experience are specified. The organizational-methodical conditions of professional training of in the prospective interior designers are determined and implemented as well as the methods of formation of their professional competence in the conditions of innovative educational environment are substantiated. The conceptual model of the professional competence development of the prospective bachelors on interior design and optimization model of the diagnostics of higher education quality in a definite direction are developed, substantiated and experimentally verified. The educational-methodical maintenance of the professional training of the prospective interior designers is built implemented.
