Andryushchenko I. Viability of industrial enterprises: theory, methodology, practice

The object of the study is the processes of forming and ensuring the viability of industrial enterprises. The purpose is: to substantiate theoretical and methodological provisions, to develop a conceptual approach and to provide practical recommendations on ensuring the viability of industrial enterprises in Ukraine under crisis conditions. The methods are: abstract-logical and systematic approaches; retrospective analysis and method of logical generalization; factor and economic-statistical methods; correlation-regression analysis; integral assessment; scenario simulation and game theory. For the first time it was proposed: - conceptual model of ensuring the viability of industrial enterprises; - scientific and methodological approach to the substantiation of a viable trajectory for the development of industrial enterprises; - scientific and methodological approach to the estimation of parameters and viability of industrial enterprises in general; - scientific and methodological approach to the substantiation of the optimal strategy for the development of industrial enterprises; The following was improved: - classification of strategies for ensuring the viability of industrial enterprises; - principles of ensuring the viability of an industrial enterprise, grouped from the standpoint of functioning and development, enterprise systems depending on the functional purpose; and - a set of factors for the formation the viability of an industrial enterprise; - structure of the tool base of an industrial enterprise; The following received further development: - determination of place and importance of economic entities viability; - conceptual-terminological apparatus connected with the concepts of parameters of industrial enterprises viability; - concept of the process of forming the enterprise viability; - categorical apparatus of the theory of socio-economic systems viability. Scope of use: industrial enterprises.
