Tereshchuk O. Administrative and legal bases of the pablic control over law-enforcement activity in Ukraine: theory and practice

The thesis studied the conceptual foundations of public control over law enforcement activity in Ukraine. The concept of control in the field of public administration is defined, the formation of public control over law-enforcement activity is analyzed, research of scientific interpretations of public control over law-enforcement activity has been carried out. The essence of the mechanism of legal regulation of public control over law-enforcement activity is revealed. The administrative-legal status of subjects of public control over law-enforcement activity is investigated, features and structure of administrative legal relations concerning public control over law-enforcement activity are disclosed, as well as the specifics of their occurrence, change and termination.
