Nykolyuk O. Agricultural Enterprise Competitiveness Formation: Theory, Methodology, Practice

Aim of research: to substantiate theoretical and methodological aspects and practical recommendations for the formation and maintenance of the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises. Object of research: the process of formation of competitiveness of agricultural enterprises. Research methods: DEA-analysis, multidimensional methods, modeling, fuzzy logic, cluster analysis. Theoretical results: the author has developed the theoretical and methodological principles of formation of agricultural enterprises' competitiveness. Practical results: proposals concerning ensuring sustainable competitive advantages of agricultural enterprises of different sizes and with different resource potential have been developed; the conclusions and recommendations concerning the strategic directions of forming their competitiveness have been given. Scientific novelty: author has developed the scientific and methodological approach to the research of competitiveness formation process in agricultural enterprises that provides system consideration of their external and internal business environment conditions, algorithmization of the competitive strategies development, assessment of the competitiveness level and analysis of factors that affect it. The theoretical and methodological provisions of the agricultural enterprise' competitiveness forming process management have been substantiated. Degree of introduction: the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Foodstuffs of Ukraine; Zhytomyr Oblast Rada, the Department of Economic Development, Trade and International Cooperation of Zhytomyr Oblast State Administration, ZNAU. Efficiency: the results of the research contribute to increasing the ability of agricultural enterprises to form and maintain sustainable competitive advantages. Sphere of application: agricultural enterprises and their associations, central and local authorities of executive power, subjects of management on the rural territories, higher educational establishments.
