Guzhva I. State regulation of the foreign trade sphere of the national economy

Thesis is dedicated to the development of conceptual bases of formation and realization of the foreign trade sphere of the national economy. Theoretical foundations and major trends in modern international trade are investigated. The nature and characteristics of the global value chains as a determining factor of formation of international production and trade environment are analyzed. Conditions and the efficiency of Ukraine's integration into the global market of goods and services are identified. Current economic and institutional tools enhancing the domestic producers' entering on foreign markets and balancing their interests in terms of discrimination on the part of trading partners or the risk of negative unforeseen exogenous nature are investigated. With the help of economic and mathematical modeling analysis, the effectiveness of different methods of export-import operations regulation in the context of their potential impact on major macroeconomic indicators of the national economy in general and its external sector in particular is analyzed. The trade and economic priorities of international cooperation of Ukraine are determined. A set of economic and legal measures to improve the national system of state export-import regulation is proved and offered. Institutional mechanisms to ensure a favorable environment for the revitalization of the national foreign economic activity with a view to practical implementation of the proposed measures increasing the efficiency of Ukraine's foreign trade policy are improved. Basic principles and organizational aspects of constructing in Ukraine of training and retraining system in the sphere of international trade for the needs of the state and business are identified. Mechanisms for implementing the national model of foreign trade policy have been developed, which will help stimulate economic development based on certain trade and economic priorities of Ukraine.
