Kryvenko L. Gingivitis in children with atopic diseases (clinic, diagnosis, prevention and treatment).

In the dissertation the conceptually new program of treatment and prophylaxis of gingivitis at children with atopic diseases is presented through the complex analysis of dental status, detection of prognostic biomarkers of initiation of gingivitis and differentiated correction of immunomedabolic units of its pathogenesis. It has been established that in children with atopic diseases the degree of inflammation of periodontal tissues according to SBI and PMA index is significantly higher than in children without somatic pathology. It has been experimentally proved that, in atopic processes in the oral cavity, the morphological picture is characterized by inflammatory, dystrophic, dyscirculatory changes. It is determined that the most informative biomarker, which characterizes the antioxidant status and allows to predict the degree of periodontal tissue inflammation, is the level of glutathione in the oral liquid, the determination coefficient is 91%.
