The object of research is the processes of ensuring the sustainable development of machine-building enterprises based on the management of business processes. The purpose of the work is to substantiate and develop theoretical and methodological provisions, scientific methodical approaches and practical recommendations for ensuring the sustainable development of machine-building enterprises on the basis of management of business processes. The author used such methods as: dialectical knowledge, deduction and induction, historical and content analysis, morphological analysis, generalization and scientific abstraction, system analysis and formalization of complex structures, expert evaluations, economic-statistical and comparative analysis, questionnaires, economic-mathematical modeling, theory systems and system approach, grouping and systematization, system, synergetic and hierarchical approaches, graphical and tabular representation, abstract-logical. The theoretical significance is the systematic study of current developments in the scientific sphere regarding the implementation of the mechanism for ensuring sustainable development of machine-building enterprises, as well as in solving practical issues related to the possibilities of applying the proposed approaches to managing the business processes of enterprises in the context of the transition to sustainable development. Scientific novelty consists in solving an important scientific problem - development of theoretical and methodological, scientific-methodical and applied bases for the sustainable development of machine-building enterprises on the basis of business processes management. The subject of the study is a set of theoretical and methodological provisions, scientific methodological approaches and applied aspects of ensuring the sustainable development of machine-building enterprises on the basis of business processes management. The practical significance of the results obtained is the possibility of using the developed theoretical and methodological, scientific and methodological provisions, analytical and organizational mechanisms, and practical tools in the processes of ensuring sustainable development of machine-building enterprises on the basis of management of their business processes.
