The dissertation is devoted to the research and development of theoretical and methodological principles of the formation and development of information and consulting (advisory) services. In the work, the organizational and economic mechanism for the creation and operation of regional information and consultation (advisory) services is scientifically substantiated. The most important elements of the successful conduct of information and consulting activities by the advisory service are considered in the work: technology of counseling and methods of work with information in the process of their implementation; Methods of economic analysis and forecasting in ensuring the effectiveness of counseling; Psychological aspects of informational and consulting work. The infrastructure and pricing in the market of agro-consulting services, the activity of international technical assistance projects on the way of advisory development, institutions of agrarian science, non-state information and consulting services and consulting organizations in the market of agricultural advisory services are investigated. On the basis of the conducted research, the basics of designing and choosing the legal form of the advisory service have been worked out. Scientific researches are introduced in the created advisory services and are used in the educational process.
