Novak I. Strategy of effective investment of the agrarian sphere of Ukraine's economy

The thesis studies comprehensively the formation and management of the investment development strategy of the agricultural sphere in Ukraine from the research of methodological foundations on the definition of investment demand in farming, developing a decision-making mechanism on the implementation of investment to the formation of conceptual principles of the effective investment strategy of the agricultural sector in Ukraine and financial mechanisms for its maintenance. The scientific work gives the origin of points of view on forming strategic planning methods, determines the relationship of overall national development strategy and investment one, justifies the importance of the agricultural investment in the economic security of the country, shows the nature of the investment policy and defines the architecture of the institutional environment and the institutional integration of entities of the investment process of the agricultural sphere. Implementing innovative type of development of the agricultural sector is proposed to carry out through the development and implementation of the investment strategy. The presents the developed method for determining the demand of agricultural commodity producers for capital investments and investment capital proposals considering attraction of alternative investments. Taking into account the reduction in state support for agricultural enterprises, the author proposes to develop mechanisms for raising capital of institutional investors, such as collective investment institutions, private pension funds and insurance companies. The scientific work has a focus on creating conceptual approaches to the investment strategy built on the paradigmal combination of existing and potential sources of capital. The strategic planning algorithm of the investment strategy of the agricultural sector developed by the author is noteworthy. It includes three stages: primary, basic and final detailing goals and tasks. The mechanism on developing the consolidated source of investment in agriculture is justified. The investment strategy of sustainable development of the agricultural sphere on the basis of “Innovation import” is offered. The main directions of cluster investment for agricultural enterprises depending on their socio-economic and climatic features are specified.
