Essay

Purpose: to develop and substantiate theoretical and methodological foundations and applied recommendations regarding ensuring efficient use, ownership and disposal of agricultural land.Object: process of development of land relations in agriculture under the conditions of market transformations.Methods of research: abstract-logical, economic-statistical, graphical-analytical, factor analysis, sociological survey, modeling, expert evaluation.Theoretical results: theoretical and methodological principles of developing land relations in agriculture are worked out.Practical results: suggestions for improving the efficiency of using, owning and disposing agricultural land at the stage of formation of a full-fledged land market in Ukraineare developed.Scientific novelty: the theoretical and methodological content of the globalization theory of developing land relations was formed; the system of principles of market circulation of agricultural land is proposed; indicators for assessing the state of development of land relations are worked out; the role and place of the united territorial communities in the process of realization of their rights and functions concerning the management of land resources are identified; the model of concentration of agricultural land by economic entities is proposed, depending on the manifestations of global challenges.Degree of implementation: the Institute of Agriculture of the Polissya National Academy of Sciences; State Institution “Soils Protection Institute Ukraine”; Berdychivand Chudniv district state administrations; STOV “Lischynske” (Agricultural Limited Liability Company Lischynske (under the laws of Ukraine)); municipal enterprise “Zhytomyr City Center for Land Relations”; ZNAEU (Zhytomyr National Agroecological University). Efficiency: the results of the study contribute to increasing the social and economic as well as environmental effectiveness of using, owning and disposing agricultural land.Scope of application: specialized ministries and administrations, central and local executive authorities, sectoral authorities, and higher educational institutions.
