Objective: development of the concept of the energy component management in the system of ensuring the effectiveness of the enterprise, theoretical and methodological and scientific and practical justification of the expediency of managing the process of energy consumption (for example, enterprises of the metallurgical industry). Object of research: processes of power consumption management of the metallurgical enterprise. Methods of research: analysis and synthesis; theoretical generalization; historical analysis; grouping); comparison; questionnaires and expert assessments; semantic-cognitive analysis; statistical analysis; economic-mathematical modeling; classification. For the first time: the concept of management of power consumption of the metallurgical enterprise has been developed; the strategy of management of power consumption of the metallurgical enterprise is formed; the model of risk management of the metallurgical enterprise in the system of energy management has been proposed; the mechanism of management of power consumption of the metallurgical enterprise is developed. The following was improved: principles of forming an energy strategy for the development of the metallurgical enterprise; the process of forming a mechanism for managing the energy component of a metallurgical enterprise; conceptual model of energy consumption analysis; a system of modern criteria and indicators of the sustainability of the development of metallurgical enterprises taking into account the energy component; a hierarchical model for forecasting the development of metallurgical enterprises. The conceptual apparatus of the energy management system of the metallurgical enterprises; principles of power consumption management of the metallurgical enterprise; classification of energy efficiency factors of metallurgical enterprise.
