Essay

The thesis demonstrates the experimental substantiation and scientific solution of the important orthopedic dentistry problem – increasing the efficiency of orthopedic treatment of patients with dentition defects, complicated by dentoalveolar deformities, by refining the pathogenetic mechanisms, clinico-pathogenetic substantiation of rational methods of complex treatment and functional rehabilitation, as well as improving diagnostic methods, prevention and predicting complications. Four hundred and ninety-four (494) patients took part in the research. As a result of the studies, the diagnostic scheme was improved, the character and degree of morpho-functional disorders of the dentoalveolar apparatus were determined in patients with partial loss of teeth, complicated by dentoalveolar deformities, compared with the norm in the age aspect. The mathematical model has been developed and a technique for orthodontic preparation for prosthetics of patients with dentoalveolar deformations with the use of orthodontic equipment of our own design has been developed. According to the results of mechanical and mathematical modeling, a direct correlation was found between the average duration of orthodontic treatment and the radiographic density of bone tissue. The protocol of gradual loading on dental implants in the conditions of insufficient density of bone tissue is scientifically grounded. Depending on the densitometric density of bone tissue, a technique for discrete loading of the dental implant has been developed. The protocol of gradual loading on dental implants provides for a density of bone tissue in the study area in the range 350–850 and 150–350 Hounsfield units, which corresponds to D3 and D4 by C. Misch application of a gradual loading on the dental implant. With a bone density of 850 units Hounsfield and more, which corresponds to D1 and D2 by C. Misch recommended the application of a classic two-stage protocol. Branch- medicine.
