The objective of the thesis is the analysis of the RSFSR and the Ukrainian SSR relations development in 1919-1929 in political and economical as well as administrative and territorial discourse.
The object of the study is the RSFSR and the Ukrainian SSR during 1919-1929.
The subject of the study is the interstate character of the relations between the RSFSR and the Ukrainian SSR (1919–1922), their political and economical as well as administrative and territorial unification in the conditions of systemic unitarisme (1923–1929 рр.).
Practical value of the thesis is determined by the fact that its results widen contemporary knowledge about the relations between the RSFSR and the Ukrainian SSR in 1920s. Factual material, results, generalization, and conclusions can be used while writing special general works in the histories of Ukraine, Russia, and international relations. The materials will be of special use while developing special lectures and seminars for the students of higher educational establishments.
The materials of the research could be put to social and political practice to form national identity of Ukrainians as a fundamental aspect of developing Ukrainian state and protecting its sovereignty.
Methodological base of the research is comprised of general scientific and historical approaches and principles as well as a wide range of the methods of other sciences – theory of international relations, political science, sociology, and law. General scientific, special and interdisciplinary methods are applied in the paper. The study of the relations between the RSFSR and the Ukrainian SSR in the given period is carried out on the conceptual and empiric levels.
The composition of the paper’s structural elements is based on the problem-chronological method. In the course of the research the following methods were applied: diachronical, retrospective, statistic, chronological and periodization, empiric analysis, text analysis, juridical and comparative, terminological, notion operationing.
