Buryk Z. Theoretical and methodological principles of state regulation of sustainable development of Ukraine

The present thesis research introduces the solution of the actual problem in the field of public administration science – the scientific substantiation and development of practical recommendations in order to improve the mechanisms of state regulation and achieve sustainable development in Ukraine. A systematic analysis of scientific developments has been carried out in order to specify the research issues, the conceptual and categorical framework that serves as a system of scientific knowledge; in particular, the concepts, such as: “sustainable development”, “state regulation of sustainable development”, “the mechanism of state regulation of sustainable development” have been specified. It has been discovered that the background of the concept formation of sustainable development is a triple model, based on the synergistic effect of the combination of components, namely: economic, social and ecological. The positive features of state regulation of sustainable development in the countries of the European Union (hereinafter referred to as the EU) that can be applied in Ukraine have been summarized.
