Essay

The aim of the dissertation is to improve the reliability of information transmission and increase the energy efficiency of coding in telecommunication systems and networks based on development and improvement of methods of error correcting coding of information using the principles of bio-inspired search optimization. The object of the research is the processes of improving the reliability of the information transmission and increasing the energy efficiency of coding in telecommunication systems and networks. The subject of the research is the methods of decoding and optimization linear error correcting code structures of various classes for telecommunication systems and networks. The researches are based on the methods of theory of error correcting coding, theory of finite fields, graph theory, optimization theory, theory of mathematical programming, bio-inspired approach. The practical results are obtained using the methods of theory of algorithms, information theory, telecommunications theory, probability theory, mathematical modeling, mathematical statistics, mathematical analysis and synthesis. The dissertation is devoted to solving the actual scientific and applied problem concerning scientific substantiation and development of methodology for improving the reliability of information transmission and increasing the energy efficiency of coding in telecommunication systems and networks based on improving the methods of decoding and optimization of error correcting code structures of different classes. The usage of the developed methodology allows to provide greater energy gain from coding and less probability of error decoding by using more effective methods of soft decoding of error correcting codes, as well as obtaining error correcting code structures with random structure with necessary properties.
