Nedashkivskyi O. Methodology of increasing the efficiency of providing telecommunication services in multi-service networks

The work is devoted to the development of scientific and methodological foundations for building multiservice networks to improve the efficiency of providing telecommunications services in these networks based on packet network technologies, reducing the costs of building network infrastructure and serving subscribers while improving the quality of telecommunications services to improve the quality of planning and making sound management decisions. In the work the expanded bases of the theory and practice of granting of telecommunication services in multiservice networks on the basis of packet network technologies of data transmission (the Internet). The developed methods, algorithms and principles of construction of multiservice networks using optical, wire and hybrid technologies. A method for assessing the effectiveness of telecommunications services in multiservice networks has been developed, which allows the synthesis and optimization of networks with various access technologies. It is established that in the synthesis of access networks and other levels of multiservice networks connected with it, it is necessary to apply methods of the theory of integer optimization with the choice of the cost-benefit functional of the resulted costs as an objective function and using quality of service indicators, probability-time characteristics and reliability indicators of network structures.
