Essay

Theoretical and methodological and applied principles of adaptation of management of economic activity of agrarian enterprises to modern challenges are substantiated in the dissertation. The position of the school of adaptive-combined management have been substantiated. The idea of combining the mechanisms of different scientific approaches and schools to predict the nature of the influence of external factors and the flexible variation on them of the internal components of the enterprise is the basis of the school. Five priority modern challenges among the set of external factors have been distinguished. Directions and mechanisms of adaptation to them in agrarian enterprises have been substantiated. Multi-level tools for modeling of management decisions as the basis for ensuring the complexity and operativeness of the enterprise managers response to the set of external influences and the differentiated use of the criteria of the target function of the model have been elaborated. An approach with a five-step procedure for assessing the results of adaptation of enterprises to external influences, in particular, to modern challenges, have been picked out to ensure a systematic evaluation. It is proved that the basis of long-term functioning of agrarian enterprises in the market is their transition to strategic management with the development of a differentiated procedure for the formation of management and adaptation strategies of their economic activity, as well as the procedure for choosing more appropriate to the specific economic conditions of economic policy.
