Essay

In the dissertation the systematic analysis of Orthodox anthropology was conducted. The conceptual and methodological principles of research of the problem of a person in religion in general and in Orthodoxy are analyzed, in particular. The substantive manifestations of man in Orthodoxy are revealed, the idea of integrity, deification, energetic, and others are substantiated. Traditions of Russian religious philosophy are analyzed as a translation of theological propositions of Orthodoxy into the language of metaphysics, as the disclosure of the essence of man in the aspect of its moral formation. Analyzed anthropological processes that occurred in philosophy, religion, theology. There are three main principles of Orthodox anthropology - Christological, pneumatic, and personal. The main thesis is that a man is a person who is endowed with high spirituality, their own preferences, which sells its freedom. Shows the value of Ancient philosophy, Patristic as soil that produced anthropological turn in various spheres of the spiritual life of society. The concepts of «personality», «man», «the created being» in the writings of the Church Fathers, the interpretation of these concepts in the coherence of culture, creativity, the main characteristics of the life and destiny of man. Analyzed one of the main problems of the Christian tradition - the problem of human integrity. Author pays special attention to «the lost integrity» of Adam and Eve, in the ways and possibilities of renovation of human nature.
