The dissertation is devoted to solving an important scientific problem of substantiation of theoretical and methodological, methodical and applied methods for the formation and implementation of controlling mechanisms in the system of management of economic potential of agribusiness subjects. The dissertation explores and deepens the conceptual-terminology apparatus of potential research, economic potential, controlling. The conceptual bases of economic potential management of agribusiness subjects are formulated. The functional control mission in the system of economic potential management is substantiated. Identified (substantiated) organizational principles of controlling in the management of economic potential. Controlling instruments in the system of managing the economic potential of agribusiness subjects are investigated. The stages of assessment of controlling the transformation of the economic potential of the agribusiness entity are systematized. The methodological bases of the analysis of the economic potential of the enterprise for measuring the efficiency of controlling are substantiated. The methodical approach to the analysis of the economic potential of the subject of agribusiness to measure the effectiveness of controlling is substantiated. To develop the organizational principles of the formation of a controlling subsystem in the management system of the subject of agribusiness. The factors influencing the internal and external environment on the formation, efficient use and development of the economic potential of the agribusiness subject are investigated. Reasonable indicators of efficiency of managerial control over the activity of the personnel of the enterprise. The expediency of application of economic-mathematical modeling for the measurement of controlling efficiency is substantiated. The methodological bases of the analysis of economic potential for measuring the effectiveness of control are determined based on complementary synthesis of cognition methodology, assessment methodology, controlling methodology, which allows to distinguish specific properties, analytical, information-logical and heuristic dependencies of types of controlling in the system of management of economic potential of agribusiness subjects . The algorithm of estimating the controlling of the transformation of economic potential taking into account the life cycle of the enterprise, which is based on the phased implementation of analytical, evaluation and control procedures, while simultaneously diagnosing the risks of the external, internal environment and the implementation of management decisions aimed at avoiding (neutralizing) disproportions in the development of components of the economic potential of sub agribusinesses. The theoretical approach to identifying the controlling mission in the system of managing the economic potential of agribusiness subjects is proposed, which allows, through differentiation of its constituent components (planning, accounting, analysis, control) to determine the structure of their own and attracted opportunities (sources of formation) of economic potential in terms of its components. The methodical approach to the analysis of the economic potential of the subject of agribusiness has been improved, which, unlike existing ones, involves the use of a set of principles, economic methods, estimated financial indicators, which, taking into account the influence of the external and internal environment of the enterprise, will allow an etiological evaluation to be carried out, the results of which will ensure streamlining of the information-analytical component of controlling, which will increase its efficiency in the system of management of the economic potential of the enterprise.
