The dissertation is devoted to a comprehensive study of the activities of public authorities on the regulation of civil aviation activity in Ukraine. The basic concepts and categories of administrative and legal regulation of activity are formulated bodies of public authority and its methodological principles are defined. The normative and legal acts regulating the activity of civil aviation in Ukraine are analyzed and are the basis for forming of administrative and legal support of activity of public authorities. The improvement of information support of state control over civil aviation activity in Ukraine is proposed. The necessity of the adoption of the new Air Code is substantiated.
