Deyneka T. Challenges and contradictions in the global economy: political and economic analysis

The thesis presents a political and economic analysis of the challenges and contradictions in the global economy. The existing approaches were generalized and the new scientific approaches to define their modern specifics, conditions of occurrence, features of the reproductive cycle, positive and negative consequences for society were suggested. The methodology of political and economic analysis of the contradictions of society, that is based on the concept of the reproductive cycle of contradictions, and differs from the existing ones by deriving from the principles of the thematic analysis of science, was created on an interdisciplinary scientific basis. A political and economic transformation model of the «good life» of the globalized society was formed. It was proved that the cause and determining factor of transformation is the aggravation / resolution of the contradiction between global capital and civil society. The opposing trends of the development of global society were estimated. The strengthening of global challenges and contradictions, asymmetry of global development, polarization of global society was defined; existing trends in intergroup gravity of countries were identified; vectors of qualitative transformations of the life of the globalized society were outlined. The methodological approach and the logically ordered tool of research of global positioning of countries were developed. The scientific and practical principles of estimating the place of Ukraine in the globalized world were determined. The problems of its modern development and possibilities to overcome the political and economic contradictions were defined.
