Essay

In the thesis, a broad series of theoretical studies of low-frequency (magnetic spin-wave) and high-frequency (optical) properties of shell-type nanosystems is conducted. The fact of the significant influence of the shape of such nanosystems on their magnetic and optical properties is demonstrated; the key physical features of such effects are shown. The latter are systematically investigated on numerous examples of shell-type nanosystems with different configurations. In particular, for the low-frequency case it is done for the processes of excitation and propagation of spin waves in different nanosystems, including nanosystems with spin-polarized current. For the high-frequency case, the features of the influence of the above-mentioned factor of the nanosystem geometrical shape on the flow of physical processes in it is demonstrated on the example of the one-electron light absorption process in different metallic shell-type nanosystems with a broken symmetry. During the investigation, regularities in the magnetic spin-wave, static magnetic and optical properties of shell-type nanosystems of a wide variety of configurations are found.
